More and more young people are being required to take on active caring roles within their families - responsibilities far beyond their years. These young carers often provide emotional support, household care, and practical assistance, frequently placing their own needs and wellbeing second. The Saint Nick’s Young Carers Program gives these young people something vital: connection. It offers a safe space where they can take a break from their caring role, feel understood, build friendships, and simply be kids alongside others who truly get their situation.
