Team Kirsty Barnes - KBA

Kirsty is excited to learn and challenge her horsemanship skills by joining the Mongal Derby Academy. Kirsty has over 23 years experience with horses , she grew up on her family’s horse stud in Australia . The Horse stud mainly focuses on breeding Miniatures/Arabian horses/Welsh ponies. But have had a few different breeds over the years in the program. Kirsty has been riding since 4 years old, over the years riding many different breeds and levels. Kirsty has worked in New Zealand in the Thoroughbred industry and in Australia. As well in the pacing industry. Over the years Kirsty has been involved in disciplines such as Endurance racing, horse showing, colt starting and recently camp drafting.
I love evolving my skills in the horse industry and what better place to challenge my self in Mongolia! I can’t wait for this new adventure. I’m looking forward to challenge my self & put my skills to the test. I look forward to meeting other horse enthusiasts from other parts of the globe to take on this journey together where we can be challenge, tested and grow within the horse industry.
