I have chosen to support ADSF – Agir pour la Santé des Femmes (Acting for Women's Health), an association that has been working for over 20 years with women who are furthest removed from healthcare services. The funds raised will finance a Mobile Health Unit, an essential tool for reaching women living on the streets, in camps, in emergency shelters, or in social hotels, in France. These women, with or without children, are particularly vulnerable to violence, interruptions in healthcare, unmonitored pregnancies, and undiagnosed medical conditions. In practical terms, this Mobile Unit, run by a midwife and a prevention officer, will make it possible to: - Reach out directly to those who no longer have access to the healthcare system - Offer prevention, screening, and awareness-raising activities - Identify situations of violence and extreme vulnerability - Provide guidance and support in accessing common law provisions - And, above all, rebuild relationships, without judgment, where the needs are most urgent.
