Born and bred in Johannesburg (the largest city in South Africa) I always wanted to be a farm girl, but work, family and just life has kept me in the city. Luckily I’ve been able to own and ride horses for over 20 years, and they are a daily part of my life.
My love for travel has taken me to Antarctica, roadtripping to the equator in Africa, wandering around and Japan and many many other beautiful places. Let’s not forget regular hiking and camping with lions and hippos around me!

Highveld Horsecare Unit
The Highveld Horse Care Unit is one of the largest equine welfare organisations in South Africa. They get involved in any matter relating to equine welfare. Re-homing horses and donkeys to suitable homes on a special adoption policy. Investigating and resolving cruelty/neglect complaints. Owner education and equine medical clinics in underprivileged areas. Hospitalizing and treating horses and donkeys where owners cannot afford treatment.
